Cottrell Brewing Company is a Connecticut-based micro brewery, manufacturing delicious craft beers a fine New England tradition.

Our flagship brew is Old Yankee Ale, which is a medium bodied, American Amber Ale, that has a great up-front malt taste with a refreshing hop finish.

In 2010, we launched Mystic Bridge, which is a great example of a year ‘round New England IPA. A mild earthy IPA with hints of citrus, this beer is great for pairing with foods or for session drinking.

Our latest release, out since December 2011 is Perry’s Revenge Scotch Ale. Revenge is a malty beast at 8.5% with nice round notes of chocolate and raisin. This mahogany colored ale is a winter warmer for sure. Inspired by Charlie Buffum’s scuba diving discovery of Oliver Hazard Perry’s first naval command the USS Revenge was lost at sea in 1811. This year round Scotch Ale will debut in 12 oz bottles first week of February 2012.
